Stepping Out In Faith

It’s not always easy…

Stepping out in faith. Courageously sharing your infertility story. Advocating for change when everyone else is either unaffacted by what you are going through or fine with the way the church is now.

Why do this?

  • Because the church is supposed to follow biblical laws and scriptures
  • Because our churches are often the first place people in the community seek help

To christian women of all races and socioeconomic groups, the church may be their first line of defense when facing crisis and the first place they go to seek support . They might not be able to afford an infertility therapist, but speaking to the pastor is free. If a local support group can not be found, they may seek support in the congregation.

What happens though if the Pastor is lacking the fruits of the spirit? He seems to have not taken the time to properly educate himself and understand properly? The church congregation dosen’t respond with compassion?

Church hurt happens. Faith gets destroyed between the infertility struggle and the lack of support. When you feel like you are stuck between the world of people with children and those without, and you don’t even belong at church you stop attending. God creates a guide in the bible for us on how church should be conducted and Christians should behave. Are Christians supposed to deter the saved from their faith and assist the enemy in his battle?
